The New Generation Big Band is a relatively young bigband with mostly graduates from the Amsterdam Conservatory. Having brought out two cd’s they have been quite successful in the dutch bigband scene focussing mostly on hip, groovy, funky and otherwise danceable rhythms. They have performed with an impressive list of guest soloists amongst whom Candy Dulfer, Bob Mintzer, Pete Philly and Cor Bakker. The band now host a new series in the The Hague Pulchri studios. Opening concert being May 12th with singer Berget Lewes.
